Mont Saint Michel ..Into the shadows. Beneath the abbey, stone pillars rise into darkness, repeating themselves until the architecture almost disappears. What caught me was the narrow passage of light between them — just enough to reveal the floor, the texture of the stone, and the extraordinary rhythm of the arches. The Mont-Saint-Michel is usually photographed from the outside. Here, it felt like another world entirely.
