Draw with the edge of the light.
An optical projection attachment turns a continuous source into a more graphic instrument. With a suitable Bowens light, the snoot allows projected shapes and focused edges to become part of the composition. It is an inviting tool for backgrounds, still life and portraits with a carefully placed accent.
Check the precise light model, the mount and the maker’s compatibility instructions before fitting an optical snoot. Compare kit contents, particularly the projection optics and accessories, rather than assuming every pictured item is included.
